Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

Will be interesting to see how Plessis does, as he won't be afforded as much space as he was against Arsenal.

Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

Plessis looking nervous although still able to get his foot in there.

Lucas has left his shooting boots at home but if he keeps getting the space he will score.

Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

Started pretty much like we played for most of the game against Fulham and that is playing some pretty decent football and moving around well.

Our lack of pace in the team is pretty evident but still playing alright.

Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

Is it pronounced Plessi or do you pronounce the s at the end as when the ressies play they always say the s on the end.

Was always going to be a game like this but its keeping my interest to see how the fringe players do and hopefully see Insua get a game.

Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

We need to dominate the midfield a bit more. Plessis and Lucas are a bit off with their passing today.

Re: Birmingham - Liverpool

The movement of both strikers has been pretty poor so far.

Voronin is dropping deep to recieve the ball but when he does stay further upfront he forgets about the offside rule.

Crouch not offered anything so far and certainly doesnt seem like a player who is trying to impress the manager.

Hard to pick out a player who has stood out at the moment, probably Pennant and maybe Benayoun have looked the most dangerous.
