I have a lot of sympathy for Lampard and his family. 58 is no age and pneumonia is not something you expect to die of in this day and age. I was reading a few articles about Pat earlier and it seems she was a lovely woman who supported 2 great footballers - her husband and son.

Football is pantomine. I've called Lampard for all sorts, and will continue to do so. As for the media sob fest. Sod 'em. Let's beat the Chav bastards. This is football. We can win and show respect surely?

It is a tough time surikell , i was 23 when my mother died of cancer , my dad was in a mess too, and if the truth be known he never really got over it.
He died 3 years ago (14 years after my mother) but i think if he had ever met a decent woman , rather than the horrible bitch that he actually did meet, things would have actually been a lot easier for himself and his kids, in the years after.
The thing is , it does get easier, although you dont forget ever.
Your dad will recover im sure , and after a while you just crack on with the rest of your lives.

Normally I'd agree, but this has context given some of our fans were acting the cunt on Tuesday. I can understand why this particular thread exists.
