I agree, it isn't. If we score 1 and they score another we go to extra time, if we both score 2, we win. It's a finely balanced tie. We were losing on away goals to Arsenal with 7 minutes of regulation time to play yet people are behaving like we are out, despite the fact we have a full 90 minutes to play. Me thinks the nature of how we conceded the goal is clouding people's judgement.

deffo. We live for this sort of thing. The fact that we haven't scored at SB is just coinicidence. We have never HAD to score down there before. We have also never had Torres down there. Looking at the match, on balance, considering Stevie and Fernando both had 'off games' with stevie only really firing in the latter stages, we could easily have scored 3, and the ref must be a cousin of john terry (he doesn't deserve capital letters). A dirty player if ever there was one, and the yellow should defo have been his 2nd, turning to red, after that horrible performance.

We'll get chances at The bridge, and we'll take em.

I love the positivity! I was devastated last night but woke up in a good mood this morning. I was thinking about the fact that they have to keep that same 11 for the Man U game Saturday and then for our game, whereas we have the luxury to rest.

I've at SB the game is still 0-0 after say 70 minutes, we are going to be the fresher side and we could use that to get a winner!

I don't think it is the goal that is clouding judgement I think it is more the fact that we haven't scored at the bridge in our last 8 visits. This is the way I feel I am really worried that we won't score but as mentioned above we always seem to show our best in these situations and seem to love the drama so there is always that little bit of hope as we are the one team you can certainly never count out. We are deaf to the lungs of the old fat lady.

The state of my head at the moment is that I keep swapping from one line of thought to the other. I am going to be a wreck next Wednesday!
