The crux of the matter is that Riise has no confidence to use his right foot in these situations and that is why two simular crosses from the Luton and Chelsea games have resulted in own goals, he's been shit all season and promoting inuesta would have been a better bet than Riise, he and the other weak links have to go.

I was going to hang fire on this until tomorrow morning, but sorry, that was not acceptable for a professional defender. It's about 18 inches off the fucking floor for fuck's sake, you don't head that ball you welly it, no right foot notwithstanding.

Having said that some of the comments on this thread are way over the top. I'm extremely angry with Riise, but some of that is uncalled for; he's still a Liverpool player and the team can and will rise above that mistake.
