Re: The ISSUE 63 thread

It will be Carra holding up his newly acquired Champions League winners medal.

Also noticed there's a bit on TTW&R, which might also make me feel sad.

Damn.

This isn't making it sound like a good issue.

People don't want to buy stuff that makes them feel sad.

Wait - there's an answer!

I've just noticed an article about the misfortunes of Monty! Something to laugh about at last.

Available from both good bookstores.

Probably the best caption in TLW history. The poster who came up with that must be one whitty sexy bastard

Better be. I'll hold you personally responsible if he's not now.

Mrs RR is pissing herself at the captions too. They must be good.

Loving that photoshop display.

My mother approves of the captions too.

Re: The ISSUE 63 thread

Read most of mine in bed this morning, really good issue Dave. I really enjoyed Paul's article about taking his lad for the first time, nice one Paul.

I was sat at the computer earlier and the missus picked it up and was laughing at the "Unsuitable for children and Evertonians" on the front page, another convert I think.

Re: The ISSUE 63 thread

Suggestion - I'd imagine all the awesome Torres photoshopping costs you quite a lot in ink hence its only on one page - well I reckon you should ration the images to 1 A4 image per edition so that it can be cut out and used like a poster instead of doing loads at once...

My friends read my pience in the burning question section. Suffice to say the didn't have a fucking clue what I was on about as they don't follow footie.

Re: The ISSUE 63 thread

This made me laugh a lot:

"Realisation of how good a player like Mascherano (the non-flashy, unsung hero kind of player) is tends to go in this order: manager, teammates, fans and local press, other clubs' players and fans, blind people, national journalists, those who don't like football, the deceased and finally Soccer Saturday pundits."

No home should be without one of those Josemi fridge magnets. There's one on my fridge.

Re: The ISSUE 63 thread

Looks great from the pieces I've skimmed through so far.

Was literally in tears with laughter at the 'pigs/gorillas' and 'pregnant badger' Richard Keyes comments in the best of the forum, missed them online.

Excellent stuff.
