Team for Fulham

With the first leg semi on Tuesday, I reckon there'll be 8/9 changes over the few days. Impossible to call, but something like this wouldn't surprise me:

---------Reina---------
Finnan-- Carra-- Arbeloa-- Insua
Pennant --Plessis --Lucas-- Riise
-------Benayoun-------
-------Crouchaholic----

Ha, was wondering where my brain came up with that one. You must be haunting my subconscious.

Why would he pick Shitandje? Does Reina need a rest? Or does Benitez want to see this grinning fucking clown make a cunt of himself again?

Re: Team for Fulham

I think Torres will be rested for Fulham, and probably for the next league game at Birmingham as well.

So I'll go with;

Itandje

Finnan Carra Skrtel Insua

Benayoun Lucas Plessis Riise

Crouch Voronin

Re: Team for Fulham

I believe we will play a wekened side, but still keep some of the big guns on the bench in case of emergency.

I`d like to see Plessis get to build on his debut, as well as Insua getting a game. If Chelsea does their bit today, we are allowed to rest players in the two up coming league matches.

Would even give Spearing a boost having him on the bench with Gerrard and Torres.

I'd play the team that drew in the league match at the Emirates.

I agree but I think Rafa will play him. The nightmare scenario would be Reina getting injured against Fulham and then missing the semi final. I wouldn't fancy us to beat Chelsea with Itandje in nets.

I'd rather play David Martin than Itandje. At least he won't turn up pissed.

Itandje is a really good shot stopper though.

------------Reina-------------

Finnan---Carra----Skrtel---Insua

Yossi----Lucas----Plessis---Riise

--------Crouch----Nemeth------

I wouldnt mind that to be honest, decent chance it could happen.

I reckon Chelsea will drop more points tonight. It will be a score draw I think.

Re: Team for Fulham

I would start off with Torres and Gerrard with Plessis and Lucas in the middle, Insua at left back.

Take off Torres and bring on Nemeth at half time with Yossi for Gerrard.
