Re: skysportsnews

Well in Dave mate, you kept pretty calm about it which seemed to add to its validity, rather than let your emotions take over. Made some great points aswell. Lets hope people see past the obvious PR stunt by Hicks.

Dave.....spot on with everything you said.
Disappointed you never mentioned Sharinliverpool!
Anytime a Liverpool fan has a chance to air his views through the media Shareinliverpool should get a strong mention.
Maybe I'm an optimist , but i really believe this can work so the more publicity the better.
Well done anyway!!

What did Rogan Taylor say afterwards? Did he basically slag off everything Dave said straight after?

Re: skysportsnews

Im glad you also mentioned DIC not necessarily being a white knight. I'm actually not too worked up about the ownership situation. It's unworthy of LFC to wash the dirty laundry in public, but apart from that Im not too worked up.

The most important thing is that Rick Parry goes, and this I have been saying for years and years and years before Tom even knew what soccer was. He is clearly incompetent and has been holding us back. He is also responsible for what is happening with the owners. He had a meeting with Klinsman, wtf? Not acceptable when we have a great manager that the fans love, and we were even unbeaten at the time. He has to go, so on this one Hicks is spot on, which Dave also said.

The second most important thing is that Rafa stays and has a working relationnship with the CEO and the owners.

If those two things are in order it matters less whether we are owned by a dictator from Dubai or a lose cannon from texas. Success on the pitch is all that matters, and that is mostly down to senör Benitez and a new CEO imo

Disagree the most important thing is that Hicks goes. Parry going on the same day would suit me fine but Hicks is the biggest threat to the club. Parry is a poor CEO but he isn't striving to place hundreds of millions of pounds of debt on the club - Hicks is though.

Re: skysportsnews

Many thanks for the upload Dirk. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

Dave Usher - top job. You gave a very good interview. You said some excellent things and the message came across clearly. This was a PR stunt by Hicks. You were right about Parry too. If he was to go it would have been after Athens. He is only under pressure now to even things out on the board. I'm not sure that point has been made in the mainstream media, so well done for making it. Finally, you were hopeful for DIC to come in but you were not gushing in praise for them, which is as it should be. If/when DIC come in they will need to demonstrate that they are worthy owners. The whole experience with G&H has taught us to be cautious.

Top job and loved the 'no worries' at the end.

They both need to go, it's as equally important. Part of the reason we have hundreds of millions of pounds of debt and no stadium is because Parry didn't do his job properly.

Given the current state of play,i would have thought this option would be the best!

You might have reservations but you know what....If it fails it won't be for the lack of trying.

If any red supporter thinks he has the funds or might be willing to raise the funds then he SHOULD GET HIS/HER NAME DOWN.

There are some big hitters on board such as John Hargreaves Miskelly etc.
If we only get half the target needed we would still be in a very strong position to go to the banks.

IF YOU CAN put your money were your mouth is and wait and see!!

Very good point that. I cringe when I see banners like "Yanks Out, DIC In."

The issue is a whole lot more complex than simply "Arabs good, Yanks bad."
