As i type this i can see it like yesterday a young lad running up to the Forrest fans most people thought it was some sort of holligan at first

But he was begging them to come and help i have seen the same images a million times in my head as im sure have the thousands of other who where there that day

And my emotions are as raw now as they were then.

No other single thing has had a greater effect on my life than that day including the birth of my kids and the death of my father

Just got back, was very moving as always and a class turnout.

Mr.Drummond's speech was very sad and what he said about us and the blues was spot on.

Ablett and Brian Hall spoke very well under what must of been difficult circumstances.

A few times today ive been chocked up. I was only a couple of years old at the time. But my dad and his best mate where in the Leppings lane that day. Thankfully they survived, and they are the lucky ones who i still go the match with every week to this day. 96 werent that lucky. so sad.

lads, just something i noticed regards the "black armbands" the players wore on sunday, it was only black tape wrapped around their arms, surely, them 96 innocent people deserve more than a shitty bit of black tape wrapped around a players arm ,it may only be a small thing, but i think proper armbands should have been warn, in fact, i think im going to email the club now about this

Did all clubs wear armbands? I think they did last year, and they where actually special printed ones with the eternal flame symbol on them if i remember correctly. i think its a disgrace that a minutes silence/applause was not held in all grounds, considering how the event shaped british sporting history.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it today due to work, but that does my head in as well along with the cameras and mobile phones, there is a time and place for taking pictures of the players but today is not that day.

They were all there, its boil worthy and you can tell by the looks on the players faces they dont like it either.

As for armbands they should all be wearing special ones, it wouldnt take anything to sort them and box them up ready for the fixture closest to it rather than tape.

The proper ones are crap and kept falling off, so they just used black tape.
