Indeed Cath there is a lot of hurt still for so many different reasons. I shed tears today and I do every year, it was the saddest day of my life and I was lucky not to suffer like many others did.
I spend an hour alone and it just always ends with tear filled eyes.

They will never be alone.

Re: 1 MINUTE REFRAIN FROM POSTING AT 15:06

One of the 96 was a lad called Colin Wafer. Used to live local to me and I knew him and his brother Ian on first name terms. Both nice lads. Colin died aged 17. It seems to feel even worse now cos Ive a son aged 18. Although I was not his close friend I still remember him.

Too young to die.

RIP Colin and the other 95.

YNWA.

Re: 1 MINUTE REFRAIN FROM POSTING AT 15:06

I went up to the memorial stone outside Crosby library like I do every year and one of the lads, Eric Hankin's Uncle was there, he was so pleased someone had put fresh flowers by it. I put an arm around him for a second and said God Bless Him, I didn't know what to do, it's just so achingly sad.

Charity game with a Celtic 11 being planned for next year around the time of the anniversary.

That Celtic flag will probably get an airing tomorrow night as well.

Difficult day for me, its my sons birthday, he just turned two. I have to be happy for him obviously but it seems wrong to be happy on today of all days.

RIP

Re: 1 MINUTE REFRAIN FROM POSTING AT 15:06

Christ of almighty. Im in tears watching some of the videos on youtube. I was born 2 months after the disaster but it upsets me more than anything i can think of. If that fat cunt comes out 2moro with an interview, i think that will be the most disrespectful thing i will ever witness.
