Re: fucking hell, now moores is at it ...
It seems to me this is part of some sort of plan or strategy, I don't believe this is all off the cuff remarks or spontaneous in any way, what the plan is I haven't got a fcukn clue.

To me Moores appears to be publicly isolating Hicks. There is no way back now. This setup can never work. Hicks made sure of that with his letter (does it exist or is it a series of text messages?).
I feel the same way about Moores as I do about Parry. However angry I am at them for their years of mismanagement culminating in the disaster we have now, let's leave them for another time. Necessity is the mother of strange bedfellows and right now the Parry/Moores axis is the best we've got.
We have to keep Hicks as the focus of our protests. No distractions.

Perhaps Hicks knows he's going to have to sell and the spiteful fucker is trying to sabotage our season in the process? It won't make a bit of difference to him whether we win the CL or finish 4th or not, he'll still get the same price.

Hicks also knows that he cannot sack Parry without the backing of other board members. He is a desperate man on his last legs.

Yes, which makes his stupid public demands in midweek all the more baffling. He hasn't got a feckin clue. His cack handed attempts to use the media to strengthen his position have all backfired and make him look thick as pigshit.

With regards the Hicks/Parry thing - surely that's just tapping into our obvious dislike of Coco in the hope that we'll suddenly back him. He doesn't realise how hated he is though. What a blissful life this ignorant fool leads.

I don't think he'd do that. I think he'd like us to win the CL. If we do he can point to it the next time he's trying to worm his way into a sports club and say look, they won the biggest prize in club football under my stewardship.
Add to that the design for the stadium (if DIC change it he can say he left them plans for the best stadium in the world, but they didn't have the vision to follow it through) and bringing in two superstar players in Torres and Mascherano (enough of our own fans have fallen for that, so why shouldn't the fans of some baseball team who don't follow football?) and he can present his time at Liverpool as evidence that he's a top sports investor. He'll have to go some way to find another seller as gullible as Moores though.

That's what the sane, rational person would do. Hicks is evdiently a spiteful, vindictive man that struggles to control his anger.

Re: fucking hell, now moores is at it ...
its not going to be to long now everyone has now taken a very public position so Hicks is now on his own he will have no choice now but to sell his stake in the club before the value of that stake crumbles
It is also the begining of the end for all of them invoved and a new board will be put in place
This is what was going on in the week long talks IMHO the begining of the end so all can save face

Re: fucking hell, now moores is at it ...
The thing is with Hicks its not his money tied up in the club if it went to the wall he would owe nothing it is all against the holding company it is if the £40m profit that he would make is worth the loss of face ?

Clearly, but that still doesn't mean it's a deliberate attempt to undermine the team. It's a power play to try and get rid of the person Hicks sees as his most vulnerable opponent on the board.

He will know that he has no chance of ridding of Parry, though. He did it out of spite, whether that was to undermine the team, have a go at Gillett and Parry or whatever, he will have known that Parry won't leave. It was on SSN before Parry had even found out, the whole thing stank of a man playing a game of spite. He's clearly deranged.
