What a bloody idiot this man is, fan or not you do not sell such an asset to a couple of blokes based on the opinions of someone you've known for a short period of time. You would have a dossier the size of a bus on everything they've been involved with and compared it to that of other intrested parties.

Moores wont have been asked any searching questions because the Echo would have bent over backwards to have him talk to them.
He always plays the sentiment card - 'heartbroken' - and never offers any serious analysis of the situation, any situation concerning LFC. It was the same thing with Houllier/Evans, the man's a bit pathetic really.
At least things are coming to a head, it can't go on like this for much longer as too much has been said now for it to continue.

It is unreal what is going off at the moment. Everyday now there is something new and i just wish they would hurry up and fuck off.
I suppose Moores had to eventually speak out but he has only confirmed what many thought and that is he did zero research on Hicks and took someones word so for me he is still basically to blame for the mess we are in.
I was taken in by the PR of the two yanks as like Moores i knew nothing of either bloke and took them for their words but the difference been im just a fan. Had i been the one in charge of selling to them then i would want to know everything about them and after 10 minutes on google i would know not to let Hicks anywhere near the club.
I dont think Moores comes out in total support of Gillett and mentions that both of them should go but i dont think this statement will bother Hicks in the slightest as regards leaving.
Hicks will no doubt read this and im certain Iain Ayres will make sure he does and i would imagine we will have the usual bully boy reaction by Hicks of a statement later today saying that he is close to getting investment and that Moores should hand in his resignation of 'honourary life president' due to releasing a statement to the press.
Fuck em all i say. All i care about is how the lads are doing on the pitch and yet throughout a season of turmoil here we are preparing for a Champions League semi final which i think is a superb achievement and should not be underestimated.

I'm not even all that arsed about all this now; yes it's damaging for the club and that bothers me but I'm not letting myself become angered by it now. 1 year ago we had two cunts in Hicks and Gillett in charge, 6 months ago we had two cunts in Hicks and Gillett in charge, six days ago we had two cunts in Hicks and Gillett in charge and we've still got two cunts in charge. Nothing has changed as far as I can see, Hicks has kept up his usual policy of leaking shitty stories to the press.
