So Who are those magical 3 players?
For me there´s not too much wrong at the back and we have 3 world class player in Masher, Gerrard and Torres so who are those 3 players that are going to transform this team into Title contenders?
Are those players already at the club and we just need a different coach to get it out of them or do we need that extra quality in new players?
Answers on a postcard please

Re: So Who are those magical 3 players?
Rafinha and 2 young South Americans have been linked.
I think we need 2 pacy, attacking full backs, a right winger and a forward.
I'd like to see us sign Rafinha, Lahm, Bentley / Quaresma and Aguero.

Let me add Torben Fruitpantz to that list, the Ivory Coast international (with a Hungarian dad) from Juventus 'B'

Re: So Who are those magical 3 players?
Would love to see one world class player arrive per year to add to this team but that is unlikely given Rafa's transfer preferences and tendencies of bringingin lads of a similar level bolstering the squad.
For me, he would have to change his mindset and philosophy towards recruiting quite dramatically.
Unless a succesful takeover (gulp) provides revenue and the chance for him to improve at left back and a world class central attacking No 10/playmaker.
Ronnie Dingo in a Xabi swap plus cash...?! Aguero, Benzema, Diego, Alves...the usual fantasy names pop up but one of them must be suited to us, like the Club and fancy a shot at settling into the area and League a la Torres and Mascherano. One player of their level would be great.
Almost impossible to predict his thoughts and how the market will develop but one thing is certain, we won't push for the Title by bringing in another raft of 4 or 5 players, unless they are truly world class - and that is obviously highly unlikely.

The Chiapas people would never let them leave and we would never get work permits for them in any event.

They love their club far too much to leave but if we want real world class talent then we'd have to try and poach them. They have a brilliant manager though, so I can't see them leaving his side.

But pretty soon they'll get tired of being knocked out in the quarter-finals every season.

Re: So Who are those magical 3 players?
So 'two young players and a player for the starting 11' has turned into '3 players that are going to transform this team into Title contenders'.
Excellent.
