Re: Ice baths...

I bet Polar Bear shits are huge. Do the Inuits play tricks on each other by collecting the frozen Polar Bear turds and putting them in each other's igloos to thaw out?

Bears also mark their territory by clawing up trees and urinating on them as well, so if you are out in the Canadian woods and see a clawed up tree, a pool of bear piss and a big lump o' bear scat you best beware.

A polar bear, however, does not shit in the woods. Mainly because his territory is ice floes where he (or she) can hunt seals. A polar bear shats on the tundra/ice floe or in the open ocean (sometimes called leads).
Ok then, is the pope catholic?

The igloo would thaw with the polar bear turd as well dumbass.

Pre-white man days they heated the igloo with seal oil.

Re: Ice baths...

There used to be an ice cold, freezing plunge pool in Total Fitness, Edge Lane.

About 8 foot deep but only a few feet square, laddered, outside the steam room and I used to be obsessed with it on sunday afternoons or monday morning, especially after cricket - it was amazing for straightening out knotted shoulder, knee and ankle joints.

Your back as well. Used to swear by it - and in it.

Brilliant but heart murmer-inducingly brutal.

There's one in the Switch Island one. I did actually pluck up the courage to do it one. I stress the word 'once' as I'd never do it again. Used to amaze me the way old women would come straight out the sauna and dip straight in there. Gotta hate them having more balls than me.

I think their lack of balls was probably more of a factor.

I'm sure shrinkage was more than welcome.
