Newcastle and the bitters.

I know a lot of people on here would be made up to see the Geordies go down, but I'm not one of them, for 2 reasons:

1. I've got some really good Geordie mates, fantastic lads they are, and if you go for a night out in Newcastle it's very rare you take any shite off them, not like most other places I've been.

2. The bitters desperately want them to go down, after us they hate Newcastle and Spurs more than anyone else (they love the mancs cos we hate them). A lot of bitters I know are actually saying they'd rather Newcastle went down than them getting Fourth!!! So my wish for the last game of the season is for the shite and any one of Manu/Chelsea/ Arsenal (us hopefully at 1, 2 or 3) to be fighting for Fourth spot and Newcastle to beat the cunts. THEN I will laugh my cock off.

BTW the last time the shite played Newcastle at home on the last day of the season, they won and finished Fourth, I was in the Glebe on County Rd to meet one of the Geordies, and I overheard this bluenose, who hugged every bitter who walked in, say to his mate "I've cried twice today"!!! Fucking utter wankers. Pleas Newcastle beat them on the last day of the season no matter what.

Still want Newcastle down?

Do they hate them so much because Speed went there saying he was going to a bigger club?

I like the Newcastle soap opera in general. But I've a great Geordie friend who's suffering big time, and I'd like to see them stay up.

But do consult the following:

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

I didn't mind the geordies when they came back up to the top flight and the 93-94 game on the 2nd last game of standing kop when they beat us 2-0 on the Hillsborough anniversary and they started singing you'll never walk alone i thought fair play to them. It was like they APPRECIATED being back in the top league and obviously we associate them with the 4-3 games. I would say over the past 5 or 6 years they have got ideas above their station and its like they have a divine right to win things despite not winning a tea cup hardly for 35 years and they treated the King like a twat and they are now OFFICIALLY the most deluded gobshites on the planet. Fuck them now. Down please.

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

I don't partocularly want them to go down. But if they did, i know i would laugh my hole off. In fact, on the last day of the season if I was watching them playing to stay up, I would definitely be supporting the other team. So i suppose I do want them to go down a bit.

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

I'd be gutted for Stouffer and some other Geordies I've known / know.

Obviously you'd love to see Everton go down (who cares aboot losing the derby, that argument used to be wheeled out but is terribly silly), you'd celebrate the Mancs going down, same with Chelsea. Like you did with Forest.

But really it's all down to who the other options are.

12 Wigan 30 -15 31
13 Middlesbrough 30 -17 31
14 Newcastle 30 -26 29
15 Reading 30 -22 28
16 Birmingham 30 -12 27
17 Sunderland 30 -22 27
18 Bolton 29 -15 25
19 Fulham 30 -22 23
20 Derby 30 -50 10

You don't get much choice with Derby, I think their task may be a little tough.

So out of the other two places I'd rather see Boro, Brum, Bolton or Fulham go down before Newcastle. Always shit games against them, without fail.

Gotta love the bitters for wanting someone else to fail rather than achieve something themselves.

I have a bluenose mate who in the "forth in a two horse race" season (on hearing about the stick that dear old loveable Stig used to get from sections of the crowd) said, "I cant believe you give stick to him. I'd rather we bought Stig Inge Bjornebye and got relegated, than see you win the league with him". I replied "Please do".

If it wasn't for Keegan I'd love for them to be relegated.

I feel sorry for Keegan though. He's a bit mental, but he's not a bad guy.

For that reason I hope they stay up.

I have to agree that Geordies in general are a friendly funny bunch of folk and i've had many good trips to the north east. I don't really want them to go down... There are others i'd prefer...

I don't care who goes down, as long as Bolton are among them. Newcastle can stay, as they're an easy three points home and away.
