Leaves a bad taste in the mouth, they should stick to brown ale.

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

I heard there was a bit of trouble in the Sandon 4 away fans who where just having a drink and watching the match on the telly were set upon by a few and it was left to the barmaid to stand between one poor fucker and the so called hard men giving him a good beating for fuck all and now they have had to have security on the inside of the pub as well as on the door ?

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

There were loads of young scally Geordies at that game. There was a group of about 20 of them walking past the Kop about half one, singing 'what a fucking shithole'.

The police followed them up the road, because no doubt word would have been spreading amongst the Urchins. I hope they did get a kicking, because they had it coming to them.

I hope they go down, but I'm not that bothered either way.

Evertonians have a completely irrational hatred for Newcastle though, I think it's because Newcastle are seen by many as being bigger than them (loads of players have turned down Everton to sign for Newcastle and it really grates with them)

That could be the reason Dave, when Souness was in charge, every player the shite went for the Geordies seemed to go for, and most of them picked the Geordies.

Re: Newcastle and the bitters.

I just find the idea of a club who thinks of themselves as a 'big club' going down is hilarious.

I thought Bolton played quite well at Old Trafford the other night, and actually tried to play decent football and were unlucky to have a couple of goals ruled out. I can't believe they never bought a replacement for Anelka though.

I would love Newcastle to go down.
