Re: Design a t-shirt

I'd buy that for a dollar. Or other, more realistic price.

Maybe the "5" in a different font, or the stars added in a VERY small and subtle way but i'm nitpicking really. I like the simplicity and the fact that not everyone would get it.

I'd love to wear that for work at my office in Salford - the only thing funnier than the United fans that didn't get it would be the ones that did.

Re: Design a t-shirt

I wasn't sure if it needed the '5' at all. As you say, not everyone would get it, which would be ace.

Re: Design a t-shirt

I quite like it when there's famous quotes on shirts. Something like "Chairman Mao has never seen a greater show of red strength" on a plain red shirt would be boss.

Re: Design a t-shirt

I would purchase a "no worries" t-shirt.

I also loved that Pepe's Mint.

Chorlton is fucking boss at this design stuff. Give him some Dave U photos and make some "HAIRBAND", "NO WORRIES", "BAROS NEVER LEFT" type shirts. Haha

Re: Design a t-shirt

Will the new shirts need the same care when it comes to washing them?

Re: Design a t-shirt

Dave, is there any way of having a different finish on some of the t-shirt prints? I'm not sure about the glossy finish.

Re: Design a t-shirt

What are our design restrictions? Is it a shape your cutting out and so it needs to be one piece? Size and colour issues?

I'll answer this, as it also covers Dirk and Cain's questions too.

At the moment, it is a shape that's cut out so it does need to be one piece. That also means I can't just do the writing ones (I have got a machine that does lettering but never use it as it's complicated as fuck).

However, there is a new type of paper thats just come out that means I can do those kind of designs on a laser printer now. I haven't used it yet, but I'm gonna get some asap and then have a little go at some of these designs (especially Karl's, which are ace).

This new paper will presumably means the finish doesn't have to be glossy in the way they are now. I don't know whether it is more durable in the wash, but I'll look into it.
