Re: DIC, final offer?
The only way i will have the yanks staying, is if they promise to be loyal to the club, buy us berbatov, mancini and alvez, and give rafa a new contract. Otherwise i hope this DIC thing works out, actual fans.

I wouldn't have them staying even if they offered me a wank.

He'll do a cartweel and run towards the Kop,

businessmen who 'happen' to be liverpool fans
I don't expect them to be any different to the yanks except us paying a (MUCH) lower rate of interest on loans.

That'd be enough for me, Spider. Also, I'm convinced that they'd properly back the manager untill the grounds are finished and we can be self-sustaining.

In any walk of life, going back and paying twice as much as you could have had it for is bad business.

It depends on what the seller is asking for.
Moores seriously undervalued Liverpool which attracted Gillett and Hicks in the first place because of the cash they knew they could make.
Could have been sour grapes afterwards but Ansari spoke about how they had waited around for Moores and Parry to get in contact to them as they had agreed a fee then all of a sudden they are saying someone else has come in so if you want to get the club you have to pay more cash.
Imagine you were buying a house. You had agreed a figure of £100,000 with the current home owner and were just waiting for them to give a day to exchange contracts so you can move in. You wait and wait so try ringing them and get no reply. You keep ringing, emailing and even call round to where this person works but they leg it as soon as they see you.
What then happens is you get a phone call finally from the owner of the house telling you someone else has offered them more cash for the house so they need to talk it over with the family but feel free to make me a higher bid then theres.
You would tell them to fuck off , they can bollocks if they think your going to get involved in an auction for something you had already agreed a fee with.
This is the type of scenario DIC were faced with when trying to buy us last timeand to be honest im surprised DIC came back in for us after the way they were treated in the first place.

that's enough for me as well.
I expect us to pay for
players
wages
the stadium
my problem is us paying HUGE interest on someone owning us, if we 'have' to pay for someone owning us (and this seems standand business practice) then I'd rather it be at a rate that we can service whether we are in the CL or not, as shit happens as we are discovering this season.
