Its been touched on elsewhere but its a valid point but surely Hicks having the cash and now been able to buy Gillett out would be a story in itself and not what seems like an almost throw away comment at the end of a different story.

i have to say, im not in the least bit optimistic now about DIC buying us, that sceaming yank fuck pulled a fast one last year, and is doing so again ,and there`s fuck all we can about it

i cannot even fathom what the future holds for us now, but i dont see us winning the coveted league title anytime soon, in fact, i dont even see any of our star players here in 3 years time, and who could blame them

Isn't it strange how certain media are drip fed snippets of news about DIC and their long-standing interest (and how they're childhood reds) all the time?
