Re: DIC takeover a done deal?
roll out the red carpet and welcome the Arabs we don't hav e a choice, we're in their hands if this goes through
I pray they're going to be good owners and they at least retain the HKS stadium design which I think is marvelous, they tend to be honourable people and will hopefully listen to the fans

If they're no good we'll force them away, just like with the yanks.

Re: DIC takeover a done deal?
to my mind of this doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. let me get this right, just one year ago they refused to pay over the odds for the club and now ARE willing to pay over the odds for the club even thought the price for the club has almost doubled despite not one brick being laid and being loaded up to the back teeth with debt.
that makes NO sense whatsoever.

Chauffers always take the front seat, while the guy in power sits back and watches.

I would be very surprised if they get a loan to buy us. I reckon they would buy us with their cash but expect 7-10% return every year.

say the DIC bought us and reduced the interest by 50% and put in a resonable amount of money into the team whilst building the staduim I'd take that, I in no way shape or form want liverpool to become a rich man's play thing, what we achieve should be achieved through OUR hard work rather than someone throwing money at a problem.

You can't get that kind of interest for £350m though.

They won't throw money away like Roman. I think they will look at bringing some stability into the club first then concentrate on getting that stadium thing started. Hopefully fuck Parry off the club as well.
I'm sure the transfer kitty will be no more than £30m plus cash from players sales.

It's a real photo. Now all we have to wait for is a bit of spy satellite to land on their heads.

I've posted this somewhere before, but maybe all they are paying now is the 80mil to G&H and taking on the loans (eventually refinancing them) by buying Kop Ltd and the club, so the initial outlay would only be £80 mil which is a hell of a lot cheaper than £180 mil or whatever it was last year. The sam way Ken Bates baught Chelsea for a £1
