if you look at the noses it would appear it isnt (he has a nose that curves downward (like a parrots, if you will) whereas in the picture the guy has a straight nose...

*on further inspection, it could be argued that the fella behind Hicksy does have a parrots nose (if you look carefully)...i just dont know anymore!!!*

LIVERPOOL co-owner Tom Hicks watched his first Liverpool match last night since the uproar over his secret meeting with Jurgen Klinsmann.

But boss Rafa Benitez revealed that their only discussion after the 1-1 draw was to congratulate the players for their performance.

“Yes I have seen him and he said ‘congratulations, well done, good job’,” explained Benitez. “But I couldn’t say any more because I had to come and talk to the press!”

Hicks saw Liverpool come from behind to snatch a draw and score a priceless away goal, but partner George Gillett was not at the game as expected.

I'm sure the finished buildings will be more impressive but from the designs they showed the stadium looked shit. The development as a whole looked good though.

More from the rumour mill like, but this is from a source i know who has got things spot on in the past and came orignally via someone very close to tom hicks.

Gillettes talked on the radio about possibly buying liverpool. This referred to his attempts to secure investment to buy hicks out, which hicks knows he has been unable to do. Gillette approached amongst others, the disney corporation!!(imagine the fantasia stadium complete with giant mickey mouse, etc!!!) but was unsuccessful.

Talks between both parties and DIC are still ongoing, and talk of gillette buying out hicks and visa versa are just posturing whilst they negotiate for the best deal.

The DIC takeover is therefore very much on the cards(old news i realise) and the yanks are trying to put clauses into any deal based upon liverpool successes on the pitch over next few years.

Kia Joorabchian has expressed an interest/was approached with a view to investing in LFC.
