Depends... I reckon the yank shithead will put us deeper into debt to finance some big moves and try to BUY some of this hatred off his back.

So, £30m before player sales? Crouch, Carson, Voronin, Pennant could all be moved on for a bit of dosh. Of course... We don't have to carry Harry Kewell's motherfucking massive wages either.

Also could see Alonso moving in the summer(I want him to stay) but Plessis and Spearing are making a case that if funds are needed... We are still deep in CM.

Lets not.

Re: TOMKINS - Rafa's new Assistant

Didnt realise Andy Grays middle name was Rashid.

Thats another great article by Tomskins, him and Barrett are the two best in my opinion.

Im liking the new formation, I think Mascherano alongside Xabi will work wonders, with Stevie bombing on.

The good thing is that the formation can adapt to a 4-3-3, a 4-5-1, and more, which gives us better options.

Id like to see Rafa stick with this formation, my only concern is that he may use Voronin in a similar role to Kuyt, and drop Babel and leave out Yossi

I reckon Rafa will be given about 40m, with whatever he makes from transfers to add to that, although if DIC come in by then, who knows.

Apparently Rafinhas only 5m, I thought he was far more than that.

Where is that coming from? I dont know our finances inside out, but i can't see our yank friends injecting 40 million for players as well as the income from sales. No way hosepipe.

Re: TOMKINS - Rafa's new Assistant

I think Hicks said 50m of the loan, was towards general running of the club, including new players. I think but dont hold it against me he said; 250m to refinance the debt etc, 50m towards the new stadium, and 50m for general running of the club including new players.

Im pretty sure it will be a hefty some of more than 30m, as Hicks thinks that giving Rafa a fair good bit more money for players will get the fans on his side.

The fool

Re: TOMKINS - Rafa's new Assistant

Hicks will have been making references to the purchases of Torres and Babel when he mentioned those figures so dont be upset if the transfers budget isnt that high.

In all fairness may would want us to compete with how much the mancs spend on transfers but all their deals are done via loans Glaizer puts on them but because of their high turnover they can afford to do this it seems.

Kewell's basic pay is 40k a week, hardly 'motherfucking massive wages'
