Found this in a BBC article on the leech that is Peter Kenyon,

"The Old Trafford club estimate they have 135m fans worldwide, which contrasts sharply to Chelsea's 90m "core fans", but Kenyon remains optimistic"

90m supporters? who are they trying to kid?

Liverpool's website is by far the most visited of any club in the world. The same people visit numerous times obviously but it's still a good guideline.

We also have the biggest supporters club in Africa.

For the record, Man U market research for these figures is based on "do you like football, do you like manchester United". They use the figures to perpetuate the image of "THE BIGGEST CLUB IN THE WORLD".

They still aspire to be the most succesful.

Sounds like Kenyon has been eating some nipple shaped mushrooms and watched as the stick men in his paintings started to come alive and hold up little cards with '90m' written on them.

LFC has more untapped potential than any club in the world, simple as that really, which makes the whole current mess all the more frustrating.

The diffrence is gate money between us and United that is all and that is down to the fact they can get more in every game
