Liverpool Reserves travel to Sunderland tonight for what promises to be an exhilerating top of the table encounter - and you can watch the entire match live online through LFC TV.
Gary Ablett's men are currently two points clear of the Black Cats at the summit of the Barclays Premier Reserve League North and will hoping to build on their first league match of 2008 last week, when they eased to a 3-0 victory at bottom placed Bolton.

The two sides have already met this season when Sunderland secured a 1-0 win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium back in October - Liverpool's only reserve league defeat to-date - and the Reds will be looking to avenge that loss at Eppleton CW Ground in Hetton tonight.

The match kicks off at 7pm GMT and LFC's official commentator Steve Hunter and former Reds striker David Fairclough will be there to guide you through every kick of the action.

With the youth cup tomorrow and Sunderland fighting to win the reserve league they will be fielding a very strong line up. The reserves eligible for the youth game will play the cup game, so first team players like Andy Reid, Grant Leadbitter, Russel Anderson, Ian Harte, David Connolly and Dwight Yorke will probably all line up in a very strong Sunderland team.

Will probably be Nemeth upfront with Brouwer tonight although i have to be honest i would like to see Nemeth and Pacheco given a run out, although they might be too similar but still loads of skill in the pair of them and i think they would cause problems for the Sunderland defence.

Yeah...hopefully there will be a crowd as well.

I actually saw the Sunderland match at Warrington in october ( lucky me saw the Marseille home game, Spurs home and even managed to sneak in the reserves only loss (so far) when I went over, so i`ll promise to stay away for awhile ) and Sunderland fielded a strong line up then as well.

But the youngsters held their own against a much more experienced Sunderland side that day, and could easily have snatched a point that day.

He must have had a good game for reserves before but ive yet to see one.

Out of all the young lads in the reserves he is the one who looks least likely to make it due to his lack of hard work that we all know Rafa desires.
