online news of world match report changed
Just a note to express my horror at any implication in my website report the post-match protest last night was against Rafa.
No such words were written by me and the line in question is being changed to match the report which appears in the printed edition of the newspaper.
I offer my own sincere apology to those fans who stayed behind last night as I'm fully aware of the motives behind their actions.

You of all people would have known the motives and intentions behind the protest....for you to have misconstrued it either deliberately or unknowingly just wasn't credible.

yeah what was wrong with Skrtel, he did very well for a league debut, clean sheet, looks quick, good tackles and didn't mess up any back passes or anything, it went very well for him and he can be pleased with that game

as for GH and the comparisons, please tell us chris did GH ever attract "such dross" as Reina, Torres, Mascherano and the likes of. I don't think so therefore it is completely different. he hasn't been perfect in the market (no one is) and some players will need to be shipped out (the difference being they're not on long contracts or ridiculous wages) but for me Rafa is different class in the transfer market and should be retained on that principle alone and if Carra or Gerrard doesn't like it im sure we can find them another club and im doubly sure Rafa will use his contacts and find more dross like Torres, Mascherano, Agger, Reina, etc

I honestly thought the match report could have been better,but from what I am told he had to get most of the report back to the offices at half time to make the deadline,which considering what the first half panned out like a slating of the manager was quite right.

Again I thought the match report was not his best but as I have said he needed to get the majority of it back at half time.

Maybe if he could have had the time he would have written a more positive peice.
