We're so fucking fucked. Liverpool will pay £30m a year interest - Liverpool Echo.co.uk

I say we kill them.

Re: Both debts to be paid by club

The problem is a lot of people are taken in by the way things are spun. All this "oh well only £100m is on the club so its not so bad"

The bottom line is a £350m loan has been taken out, and interest has to be paid on it. Only £100m is in the club's name, but does anyone seriously think the owners will be making the interest payments on the loans in their name?

I like the way Barrett tells it like it is, refreshing. Too few journos does that.

I hate to say I told you so... I can't believe some fans fell for that shit. By going public though, it means that it's an exit strategy.

Wonder if all those shouting down the protesters on Saturday will have a rethink?

If all things go down the cuntladder then we will only have the £100m on our name, but that's the only thing positive. They were always going to let the club pay for everything, and so will D.I.C or whoever comes in next. It's business and the price we have to pay for a new stadium.

How many people were taken in? Hardly anyone, and most people challenged that and yet you "told us so". I assume you will be equally forthcoming when DIC turn out to not have our best interests at heart. Don't get me wrong I want the yanks out and DIC seem like a better alternative, but I wouldn't get too carried away.

It would have been cheaper in interest payments, if Moores had stayed in charge and loaned £300m for a new stadium.

Now its £280m for the club and £300m for a stadium. Depressing.

But the interest payments aren't for the stadium - I don't think most object to that - they are for them to buy the club in the 1st place.

That, and the fact that they are nobs, is the fundamental issue really.

Yes it would, but he didn't have the bollocks to go through with it. He saw the risks and weren't willing to take them. G&H are, but the only thing they lose if it all goes tits up is money. Moores would've lost something he loved in addition. The irony is he might lose it afterall.
