Good Shit Players/ Shit Good Players
Was reading an interview with Muzzy Izzet today in The Observer and I thought back to when he was at Leicester and while he looked ok for them, you just knew he never would have been able to make the step up to a bigger club. Anyway, I'd class him as either a good shit player or a shit good player (depending on which way you look at it) ie someone in a similar mould to good old Muzzy in that they either excelled for a small club but failed to hack it at a big club or just stayed at a small club to dazzle with his shit goodness.
Anyway, anymore nominations for good shit players or shit good players from down the years?

Re: Good Shit Players/ Shit Good Players
May be a bit too good for this thread but I nominate Inzaghi and Trezeguet.

I always felt that Izzet would have been better with some questionably long facial hair.
Perhaps just below his nose?

Another old Leicester gem was Matt Elliott. Brilliant in the air but you just knew he would never make it at one of the big clubs.
And staying with Leicester (although he didn't) Mark Draper used to look really promising.

We were supposed to have been really close to signing Elliott under Uncle Roy, as memory serves.
(As we were Dean Richards, come to think of it).

To think they almost won the league with them, plus Darren Peacock and Steve Howey in defence

Re: Good Shit Players/ Shit Good Players
Anyone remember the time we were heavily linked with Eoin Jess from Aberdeen (I think he played for them at the time)? It must have been 1993-4 or thereabouts.
