Anyone else getting a shitty crackle on the sound and picture tonight? All my other channels are fine - and this one usually is too, but tonight it's playing up and doing my head in.

On a serious note Paul, try rebooting it at half time. No harm in trying.

With you having a Sky + box, you have two feeds going into the box. It could be that one of the feeds isn't quite right, maybe a loose connection either outside on the dish or inside into the box. If it's that, you can test it by recording two other channels that currently seem OK at the same time as each other. If one of them is now crackly then one of your wires is probably buggered or loose.
