These were Sheikh Mo's horses not Godolphin.

Again, according to Cardie, nothing to do with DIC. So which is it? They are all of the same or not?

They're all superfans they aren't intersted in profit just using their investment company to spend millions on us with nothing in return.

Re: Do you want Dubai International Capital?
the horses are very different because this is passion to Sheikh Mo since 1970 something or other when he visited England for the first time and went to Newmarket, ever since then he's been an avid buyer, i doubt he cares much for football and maybe their strategy would be to put Dubai on the shirts and associate the brands, they also dont tend to shy away from large construction projects and the question would be how determined they would be to 'be the best' and if they would invest in the team
I foresee moderate team investment but I think they would push the boat out and want the best stadium
either way, I think it's better than the current lot. also, I dont think they will come in until the banks have G&H by the balls when the loans are called in

All have the same bloke pulling the strings. Sheikh Mo had been here for nearly 20 years before setting up Godolphin.

Re: Do you want Dubai International Capital?
We talking DIC here? Or Sheikh Mohammed specifically? The Makhtoum family's sporting involvement extends far beyond Godolphin.

Weren't they happy to stick with 'the Parry bowl'?

That's a fair view, but horses are more of a hobby than a business surely?

How do you know this? In fact how do you know so much about DIC and yet are happy to say we know nothing but "rumours" about G+H?
You are a "Grade A" bell end Cardie and don't realise how pathetic you sound. Even that last post was digs at all my opinions as opposed to your own views. Let me ask you again, give your own views and don't be shy to give them even if they look like they are a agreeing with the majority.
Why are you so hell bent on being "different"? What next for you Cardie? Streaking naked on the pitch?

Re: Do you want Dubai International Capital?
It's like asking whether scientists will find evidence for the existence of dark matter - I haven't got a clue. My ignorance is immense. We could go from frying pan to fire, we could end up with ideal owners.
The only fact I can base an opinion on is that one member of DIC is a Liverpool fan (I saw a photo of him at a game). I would rather have owners who actually supported the club, but that doesn't guarantee a shiny new stadium and big signings.
"A £500 million purchase price would enable the two Americans to ride off into the sunset with a profit of £75millon each." This would be sickening.

Re: Do you want Dubai International Capital?
DIC are known for only wanting their name associated with the best. They would make sure that the grounds are top class and the funding is there to build a team that can take the Premiership by storm.

Re: Do you want Dubai International Capital?
If DIC coming in would mean Mourinho as boss then that shows they don't really understand the club.

I want DIC
Because they offer much more scope for infantile puns. Much like my first sentence, and the next two.
DIC all the way for me.
Can't help wanting DIC

Because they would treat their horses the exact same way way as they would one of the biggest and the most prominent football clubs in the world
