Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
There wasn't one, the club didn't want Rafa talking to the press because they knew he'd be asked about the meeting, transfers, money etc.
Their excuse is that they didn't have one before Cardiff either, but that's not strictly true, as what they did was have a double press conf on the friday where the press asked about the league game that weekend, and then about Cardiff, so they could hold that back and use it before the game.
This time they didn't have a double one, it was just the manc press conference and the press thought the Chelsea one would be this week.
Be interesting to hear what questions sky ask him after the game, and what answers Rafa gives.
It's just a farcical situation.

Fucking right.
To be honest Dave I think you're making a fuss about nothing here. Like youn say, he will be interviewed after the game, so what difference does it really make? It'd just be pandering to the press who haven't helped anything with their sensationalist headlines of late.
this place is unreal at the moment. It just seems like mass hysteria.

Much too sensible a post for this place. I have been unusually sarcy lately and my avatar showed that. But like you adam, i have been jumped for suggesting that things are being over hyped by the media. It really doesnt get much worse than having Red Dick and Rashid having digs at you for being a "non believer" and "burying your head in the sand" just because i decide to remain calm until i am presented with some facts that actually mean something, not like no press conference, i dont really care whether there is one or not. I can fully understand the reasons for not having one. How many questions would actually be about tonights game?
Yes WATB, Rafa says he is happy so i am happy. Is that really wrong? Rafa is a lot more demanding than me and if he is happy with the transfer situation then who am i to complain about it.

Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
well isnt it kind of strange that their isnt one, if DaveU knows this to be true why would he lie about it, he isnt just some random poster spouting wanting to look cool.
If what dave has said to be the case my faith in this club as truly gone down the toilet, the whole situation if true is farse and are club is just a comlete circus run by more than one clown.

No one said it isnt true and no one is calling Dave a liar. Some people just dont see it as a big deal. There has been too much shit about us in the papers lately withotu giving them more ammunition. How many questions would Rafa have received about tonights game? How many would have been about the stadium, the united game, the misunderstanding etc.

I've never felt so down on a game ever. No confidence in the result, the people who own the club and clown shoes Parry. Just hope I am wrong.

Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
To be ohnest i dont see it as a big deal allthough the normal thing would be to hold a press confo it jus brings more interest to the club that isnt needed, shorely if they trusted Rafa like they have said they would let things to run at a normal level i.e. havng a press confo.
Again shorely they would realise that questions would be asked post match when if we loose Rafa may not be his usual self and due to all that has possibly said his answers and his frustrations might get the better of him again.
Thus alowing maybe turth to be spilt which im shre they ont want. I just dont ike the siatuation at the momment i have allways said i will judge them their after they have sacked Rafa, but at the momment their is far to much speculation on Rafa's future for it not to have some truth.
