Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
I always try to be positive but I think its fairly obvious that Rafa won't be here at the start of the next season. I am worried about the future of the club as everything seems to be in the air at the minute. There are questions over our manager, our new ground and it is just so depressing.
I had high hopes at the start of the season, but now I just don't know what will happen. Even if we get a new manager, will he be given funds? The Americans were quick to flash the cash, but now are backtracking on all their big plans. It just seems to be one big mess and I don't believe it is just paper talk as some would like to think.

And what do you expect the press to do, ignore all the shit that is going at the club? They couldn't 'sensationalise' if there was nothing going on and everything at the club was fine. They aren't making it up you know, sorry if that shatters your illusion that everything is fine and dandy.
You just go back to blaming the nasty old newspapers.

I didn't ever say everything was fine and dandy, I just don't think the end of the world is nigh. And I wasn't criticising the posting of it, I was giving my opinion of what you had said, and that was that you were making a fuss.
Feel free not to give a fuck.

Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
At the end of the day Rafa will have to speak to the press at some point
Anyone who thinks Rafa's gonna be here long term is in cloud cookoo land.
He'll just bide his time and get his agent to get him a job in the summer not to disimilar to how it was when he left Valencia.
Very sad indeed.

Which equates to the same thing.
You don't think things are that bad, I think they're potentially catastrophic.
I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
If the media are going to write things anyway, why give them more quotes they can twist?Really, in the grand scheme of things, if a lack of a press conference is the worst thing that happens to the club all day, then it'll be a pretty damn good day in my book.

That wouldnt actually surprise me if we put a fucked up team out and won. The last time we won there was with a shitload of injuries and Heskey and Bruno led us to glory.

Its a bit deeper than that, would you be happy to stay as manager under such gagging orders, especially when loads of bigger clubs offering more money wanted your services

Re: Chelsea Pre-match Press Conference...
The mancs are gonna be buzzing off us. I thought shit like this was supposed to happen to them when the Glazer's took over.
The truth is, they just got on with it and got back to winning ways. We look like a cub in serious turmoil at the moment.
We couldn't of found a pair of amateur owners like the ones we've got if we scanned the wholr world for them.
I feel seriously depressed at the moment!

Look at it from another point of view. If you ran a company, would you let people from your company mouth off about you in public without doing anything about it? I doubt that being able to speak out in public is high on Rafa's list of things to get sand in his vagina. If he really thought it was that important, he'd just get one of his mates to post on a website somewhere and it would spread like wild fire.

mmmm. You better be wrong. Sorry Dave cos I know you have reliable sources. I find it easier if I believe what I want to believe and take the shock of being wrong occassionally when it comes to Liverpool. There's too much crap out there to filter it all, for me.

If I bought a company that was successful I would do my damndest not to piss off some of the best employees and make them have an outburst.
G+H know nothing about football - even Rafa says it.
