Maureen
Sorry if this has been posted, hard to keep up wit the *f at the moment.
Maureen apparently declaring he's ready to talk to England according to the press, despire the fact he said when he left the chavs he'd only go to a club.
Presuming he is/was genuinely in line for an approach from those two I reckon he's done this purely to pile on the preassure the absolute cunt!

Re: Maureen
His agent is throwing his name in the frame just the same as Martin O'Neills is ALWAYS in the frame for big jobs and has been for a number of years. It raises his profile and gets him more money if he is already at a club.
That my take on it anyway!

Could be.
One of the hacks on SSN claimed earlier this week that Mourinhio was, “discussing a return to management with a high-profile English club”.
At the time it could only have been us, Derby or Brum!

Do you not reckon the timing is suss though? Last night this story broke ffs, night before the CL match and with the unrest going on behind the scenes, and yet the fucker couldn't be drawn on the subject last week when he was being mooted on virtually every back page following the England shambles.
He's a gobshite of the highest order and nothing surprises me now.

Newcastle?
His timing is impeccable. Let's face it if we don't win tonight there may well be a vacancy as early as tomorrow.

Re: Maureen
He's not daft (well he is, but stick with me on this) so wherever he ends up, he knows that saying he'd be interested in the England job will do him no harm.
It'll possibly rush anyone interested into showing their hands, and that in turn might just help him negotiate a better pay packet for wherever he decides he wants to go.
Can you imagine him at Newcastle? The Geordies hanging on his every word?
Rather that than have him here though.

I think Captain Cumshot has spunked the money shot all over the target with that one. Can't fault your reasoning and logic Jim.

Re: Maureen
I don't believe that Mourinho is remotely interested in the Liverpool job, contrary to what some on here believe he is not a fool and he knows the fans would never accept him, i do however think he will enjoy being linked to it because he knows it will distress Benitez, they are enemies after all, and i'm sure Benitez would be exactly the same if the boot were on the other foot.

Re: Maureen
I don't get this anti-Mourinho thing.
I wouldn't have a problem with Mourinho taking the job at Anfield if Benitez goes. The fans not accepting him is rubbish. They'll get behind anyone that gets the job. A slick bit of PR like the yanks used when they arrived and a few well chosen words about the history/tradition,etc of the club, and he'll be getting the "benefit of the doubt" in no time.
I don't hold anything he did whilst he was at Chelsea against him. That was the culture there, and he played to it. He's not guilt of saying anything that Shankly wouldn't have said, and I'd welcome a league title and a bit of swagger back to the club. Mourinho is a players manager too. I'd bet that somewhere not too far below the surface, there'll be one or two players on the pitch tonight who really wouldn't cry themselves to sleep if Jose walked into the dressing room tomorrow morning.
All that said, I'm not for Benitez getting the boot, on the contrary - I just wouldn't be grabbing my pitchfork if Mourinho was touted as a contender in the event Rafa goes. Of course, from the yanks point of view, it would make little sense if Rafa did go to have him replaced with someone who was also shown the door for badmouthing the owner of his club, so it would seem pretty academic, but like I say, I just don't get the maureen-haters.
