Tonight at Anfield - the hero worship of a great man

TONIGHT AT ANFIELD - THE HERO WORSHIP OF A TRULY GREAT MAN

Tonight at Anfield in the Champions league Liverpool FC versus FC Porto people will witness the greatest show of support and strength from the Liverpool supporters to the true "Special One", namely Rafael Benitez, the Liverpool FC manager.
Never before would scenes of such euphoric nature have been witnessed at the famous mythical Anfield stadium, and if the club's new American owners weren't 100 per cent sure of the depth of admiration the droves who flock to Anfield have for their manager, then they surely will after tonight's showing.

It would be truly an act of the greatest folly, to replace a manager who is so revered by the mass ranks of the Kop and the rest of the stadium as well as the millions who support Liverpool Football Club worldwide and admire what Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has acheived in just a short threee and a half years in charge.
If the astounding and idiotic decision to replace the most tactically astute manager in europe is carried out, I honestly dread to think of the consequences for those responsible, and it would surely make their position as owners of the club untenable in as much as the level of anger and resentment would be truly unrelenting. How would they be able to watch a match at Anfield when they have lost all respect from the Liverpool support?

Hopefully, common sense will prevail, everyone will do the grown up thing to do and shake hands and move on for the sake of Liverpool Football Club.

However, tonight at Anfield, a pulsating Anfield, the world will see the hero worship of a truly great man, who has brought back the pride to all Liverpool supporters, not just in Liverpool, but worldwide, step forward, the amazing, the unique and the one who is the most revered Liverpool manager since the messiah Bill Shankly arrived back in 1959, step forward RAFAEL BENITEZ - THE TRUE SPECIAL ONE.

Ever thought of doing this as a fulltime job.
Well done.

Great post - I wish I was there tonight - but will be one of the millions supporting worldwide. Chairman Mao will never have witnessed such a display of red strength
