But who decides what is right? Or do we have a rotation policy where no one particular formation can be proved to be wrong as you have nothing to compare it to? In such a case, whatever formation you choose can be said to have been wrong just for that particular occasion and not be a generic wrong choice? Hence the selector is not a bad chooser, just a mis-reader of that given circumstance? And when it works out right, which itg statistically is bound to do, it is through skill rather than luck?

number 3 could have gone to any of babel, gerrard, arbeloa, crouch, or voronin, but i think voronin set up three of the goals so he gets my nod. Also nice to see Riise have a more positive game.
