Bolton have parted company with manager Sammy Lee "by mutual consent", according to a statement on the Premier League club's website.

Shame. Sammy is not only a legend for us, but also highly respected in the game. Not sure if he's cut out for the whole club manager lark though.

Gutted for him. As someone said he's not really cut out for management. He's more of a behind the scenes man. You could see his discomfort doing interviews with the media sometimes. Great motivator and coach and I would welcome him back with open arms. I think he could be just what we need too.
