Dodgy Shirt Amnesty

Have you ever owned a shirt that you're not really proud of - not because you liked the team, but because (rightly or wrongly) you thought the shirt looked good?

When I was about 8 or 9, I used to have one of these Leeds shirts.

Anyone else got any shames to share?

Yup, I had the gold barca away shirt from around 2000/01 I think it was. Shocking shirt really.

I had to wear the awful silver Aston Villa away kit from 01/02 as, for some unknown reason, my school team used to play in it.

I had the same one with Saviola on the back.

As for dodgy shirts, I had a Ajax away shirt that looked like leather!

Re: Dodgy Shirt Amnesty

I was seeing this bluenose lass who used to wear her Everton shirt as a nightie in bed. Getting the shirt off her was a joy in more ways than one..

Anyway, this was the season when Tranmere knocked them out of the FA cup. I spotted this shirt in a charity shop for a couple of quid and bought it to piss her off.

I have an AS Roma jersey my bird bought me while studying in Rome. You'd think she'd get one with Totti on the back, but you'd be dead wrong... it was Nakata.

This Bayern Munich shirt

It really is too shiny for it's own good. Also nearly got me a kicking outside the local lesure centre by a bunch of United supporting fruits, lucky I was quick when I was 12 or 13 and ran off after getting punched in the mouth. Not before wacking the wee bastard though
