On this occassion I think Torres deserves a thread of his own. He was something else tonight, the lads not soft and he must of been aware of the situation which arose through him being dropped at the weekend. This could of only been added pressure on him to perform tonight and boy did he perform 10/10, well done nando.

I don't care what the intentions of this thread were, Torres deserves one of his own. He is fucking class. What a player. He's got everything, hasn't he? Every physical attribute and skill, plus clear mental strengths with his intelligence, bravery and confidence. I predict centre halves in this country will give up trying to bully him within a month or so and switch to wearing plastic undies instead. Terry was the first to try and fail and now they're all giving it a go. But does it faze him? Does it shite. Class - and a snip at £20m. Rafa's best signing?
