Great game tonight, 6-6. Last gasp controversial equaliser from yours truly. A classic.

Yeah you rarely see goals scored after the ref has blown his whistle for full time and the opposition players are on their knees in celebration...but we did tonight.

You rarely see the other team calling for full time in the middle of their oppositions attack and then expecting it to be over just like that.
Anyway, I let in two fucking horrible goals at the beginning and felt overall shit and then couldn't get my head into the game.
Kept taking my focus off the ball and a couple of times I was getting really frustrated.
Started to get my head in the game after a while and then got put back in net and then I was really happy with a few of the saves I made near the end. A few good reactionary ones, there.
The last two scored on me, I simply couldn't see... I felt the wind of the ball pass my arm on Ted's kick and then I didn't even have a clue where Rob's goal was...

Re: tlw footy tonight...
There was no whistle. A few of you decided you wanted to quit because you were in front. 6-6, hell of a game.

And No Ref ?. It seem's a dubious goal levelled it. Very dubious from all accounts,No wonder your getting off DT,with cheats like him around.

Sing it brother.
Four goals from me tonight, and I also forced Monty into an embarrassing o.g. when he got in the way of a ball drilled across the face of goal. John G got the other goal, meaning me and John were responsible for all our goals. We had class players like Paddy, Rene and Evertonian Dave on our side, yet we got all the goals. Funny old game. The rest of my game was shit, but who cares. Four goals baby.
The highlight of the game was me and John leading a swift counter attack which saw him play me in and me claim my hat-trick. It was pure Gerrard and Torres. Or maybe Molby and Windass. Actually, I reckon I am a lot like Windass. At the end of the game people are usually saying 'He's fucking shit, how come he scored all those goals?" Except I'm not called 'Deano' and therefore not a gigantic twat.
Monty's backheel was good, but he only had me marking him so it takes the shine off a bit. Still ruled though, great to see him back in action.

Re: tlw footy tonight...
The extremely embarrassing own-goal by Stu Monty was a beautiful ball from you Dave, to me in the middle. I had my foot ready to redirect it and Monty seeing that I was going to score did his best Gerrard impersonation and tried to slam that ball through the back of the court.

When you were leading Dave and the others decided to let Al put ten minutes on the clock. You were still leading when they asked about the time. 3 minutes left, Al said. We scored twice to go in front and Al was asked again and said one minute left.
Play went on and when you made that last double save and was stood with the ball, Al called time. We stopped playing, you started the attack and Dave put it into an empty goal because the keeper was shaking someone's hand. You know, as you do when the game is over. It wasn't called when Dave got the ball. It was when you had it in your hands. On your own goal line.
And it was your team's idea to play for ten minutes exactly because you were in front at the time.
6-5.

Re: tlw footy tonight...
Sure wasn't my idea.... I couldn't see the ball for shit the last ten minutes.
Everyone still was playing after my double save from what I saw... It wasn't until the ball went low that the play was called from your side and then the ball went to dave and he put it in.
6-6
