Why the bloody hell do we have to pay rent?
Can't we just buy the land off them or is it because its on park space?
For all the redevelopment the club is doing for the area the least they can do is give us the land?!

That sound's too big for my liking.
The amount of day trippers would be unbearable. The 67 thousand that has been previously mentioned would be more than enough IMO.

I'm more concerned about getting my season ticket. I have no idea where I am on the list. I contacted the club to try to find out and all they could tell me is i'm still on the list.

Does anyone know how to find exactly where one is on the list?

So as for the capacity, as long as it's big enough for me to get my season ticket i'll be content.

Because it's Council land. To be honest £300,000 is fuck all when you consider Gerrard is supposed to be on £120,000 a week!

I can understand people's desperation for a season ticket, as this will be the best chance most people will ever have of getting one.

But the thought of us trying to fill a 75 thousand plus capacity stadium, if we have a few poor seasons (think Houllier's last two years) is frightening.

Not sure what problem you have with 'daytrippers'? Were you one of those guys robbing tickets in athens for out of town reds? Without the 'daytrippers' the club would not be able to compete financially. Maybe you would prefer to be like everton with a greater proportion of local fans but surely you can see the consequences of that thinking?
