RTK Area – Information for Season Ticket and Fan Card Holders

RTK have been in discussion with the Ticket Office over the past few days to finalise a few issues surrounding the re-location of current Season Ticket holders to the new area in blocks 304, 305 and 306 of The Kop.

Season Ticket Holders:

We have the following information for all those current Season Ticket holders that wish to apply to move to this area:

- Gather all Season Ticket renewal forms, payment details (either bank details on the renewal form or enclose a cheque) and enclose your current fancards, for all the people you would like to move with and be seated next to in the new RTK section. New fancards will be issued – your existing loyalty with transfer to these new fancards.

- Staple all the renewal forms together, attach the fancards to them, then either hand them into the Ticket Office, or post them to the address on the renewal form as a batch.

- Please ensure you mark / highlight the envelope with "RTK AREA". This is to ensure the Ticket Office staff are aware you wish to move seats, and to ensure that you are seated next to the people you want. All those forms stapled together will then be seated together.

- Add a cover note to the batch of renewal forms explaining you would like to move to the RTK Area, an additional measure just in case the "RTK Area" marking is missed on the envelope.

- Any current Season Ticket holder, from anywhere in the ground can do the same. Just submit your renewals together, marking the application envelope with "RTK AREA" and enclosing a cover note to make sure.

- All Season Tickets will be priced at £600 (if you currently sit in the Main Stand for example and apply to move, ignore the renewal price of £650, and enclose payment for £600).

To all those who have already submitted an e-mail to the RTK contact address, you will have received an e-mail back from RTK detailing the above.

Please submit your renewal forms directly to the Ticket Office, ensuring group applications are submitted together in the one envelope and renewal forms are stapled together.

This is vitally important in ensuring you are located next to your friends.

Fan Card Holders :

The remaining seats in the RTK Area (blocks 304, 305 and 306) not taken by Season Ticket holders, will be available via general sale to Fan Card holders on a match by match basis.

To apply for tickets in the RTK area – please submit a postal application to the Ticket Office as per normal, but ensuring you mark the application envelope with "RTK Area". This will then allow the Ticket Office staff to allocate tickets to fans wishing to sit in this area.

We are still awaiting clarification whether this will apply to telephone ticket sales, but can confirm that postal applications requesting seats in the RTK Area will be provided where possible.

This will hopefully allow non-season ticket holders a chance to be part of this section week in week out, something we strongly believe in.

So we now have the chance to group all like minded fans together, Season Ticket holders and Fan Card holders, and really try to make a difference to the Anfield atmosphere. It's now down to us to make this work.

It doesn't bother me personally, but I'd have thought calling it the "RTK Area" might be asking for trouble.

The fans that aren't singing. You go the match to support your team, you don't go to just sit on your hands.

Right so if the fans in this designated RTK section don't make the atmosphere any better who are they gonna blame then? If someones not in the singing section they don't have to make the effort do they.

Did you not read the section about installation of Noel Edmonds style gunge tanks RK? Anyone not singing gets gunged. And other entertainment will be provided.

Is it true we're getting a karaoke style scoreboard in the new stadium?

It's a positive move and it should improve the atmosphere a fair amount.

I do think it's a good idea, but I worry about the implementation, and the name of the area is the big signpost towards my worries.

A good idea in principle but, like Real Red says, I have concerns about the name and other issues which I won't go into now.

How does that make you a good supporter? I quite happily know plenty of supporters who would buy your season ticket off you. Because there is a twat of a waiting list that's stopping me from getting one.

the thing about this for me is, that if these super singing fans are already in the kop and singing there little hearts out, how will where they sit improve things? or is it a case of i will only sing if me mate sings

maybe RTK can have uniforms and big sticks im sure that might improve things when the volume dips you can hit an OOT on the head to get the crowd going again

I find posts like this very sad indeed and though RTK may have started with good intentions i have concerns that we are heading down the Italian ultra route via the back door

or maybe im just an awld twat
