for fucks sakes, what are wrong with some of you people? why are you getting a hard on over a bunch of lads clubbing together and trying to do something positive about our support, and home atmosphere etc?
Whilst I think some of the rtks ideas seem to be a bit preachy, in terms of what you can put on banners, or wear at the match, etc, the idea of a section of approx 2000 like minded lads sitting together at the match is a fucking great idea in my opinion and something which like it or not, RTK should be patted on the back for.
As long as it doesnt become an ultra type thing where only the ultras are allowed to start songs, etc, and block 1892 wont join in with chants, they dont start or approve of, then Im all in favour. Im sure it wont tho, and people need to stop being so fucking negative and at least give the idea a chance.
I wont be dictated to by any cunt, if i want to sing the national anthem at a cup final i will, if i want to wear reebok instead of retro adidas i will, but if the rtk and block 1892 improve the anfield atmosphere at a wet and windy home game against boro by at least getting some singing going, then it has to be a good idea surely?
1892, fucking boss idea, and people need to get over this whole RTK hating thing and give it a chance.

Too right!
I'm setting up a "WR AREA" at the Anny Road end. You can send a notice to Liverpool requesting that they move your ticket to the "WR AREA" and they will then move you to the "WR AREA".
There will be beer and slags in the "WR AREA".
Chris, don't you dare get on your high horse about the "WR AREA".

Where would you rather sit? Doesn't the "WR AREA" sound immense?
Bring your jester hat by the way.

I will, only if you bring the megaphone.

Obviously you haven't listened or read have you. I don't think anyone on this forum thinks what they're doing is a bad idea. But what makes RTK so disagreeable is the rhetoric that surrounds their entire campaign. The preachy, holier than thou, ethos, filled with strenuously-denied hidden agendas that are laced with local xenophobia.
Then there's the fact that they're unelected. They elected themselves as a group to speak for me and everyone else, to tell me how I should dress, behave and sing. What we have emerging is a clear emergence microcosm of a despotic regime lording it over our supporters. Many on here, myself included, are simply using their dissenting voice as a tool to keep them in check.
If this works, then fair play to them. The idea itself is a good one; the way it's being promoted, bad. If they stopped being such pompous arses, and stopped doing things like trying to name parts of Anfield after themselves, then more people would get behind them, but the chances of that happening are slim and none.

seriously, do you take it up the deaf and dumb?
'a clear emergence microcosm of a despotic regime lording it over our supporters'
get over yourself will ya! Liverpool fc, based in liverpool, from liverpool, should have a liverpool based voice and if rtk gives us that, then fair play, if it puts a few noses out of joint in the process, through failure to comprehend what they are trying to acheive, then so fuckin what.
The 'get the woolies out the kop' stuff from away games of the last few yrs by the young scouse wanna be urchin types was a reaction to what alot of people viewed as a loss of our traditional values and what made liverpool fc unique IMO and RTK are challenging these things in a positive manner, rather than trying to drive a wedge between our support which was in danger of happening
the block 1892 idea is a great idea endorsed by the club so instead of being so negative, at least give it a chance. All this back biting is getting rather pathetic and whilst i dont agree with getting preached to as well, im willing to listen to what i view are the positive suggestions being put forward by RTK.

How long before we "should" introduce a Basque-style "every player must be a Scouser" rule, I wonder. Localist bullshit.

isn't the rtk cheerleader BHB a wool? I keep reading comments connecting him to Wales, not sure if he just lives there or is in fact a complete sheep shagger.

see its quite easy throwing around assertions and the like, yet i throw one back, tongue in cheek and im the bad guy, despite chris making out im some kind of fuckin idiot who cant read?
As for the localist bullshit arguement, liverpool people should have a major say in how our club is run and its support behaves, etc, and if you dont like it, try supporting your own local team, you fuckin wool

There's lots of Liverpool born and bred people on here (myself included) that like the idea of creating a better atmosphere and giving supporters a chance to sit with their mates but are totally against how rtk have gone about it.

And you were doing so well too. The RTK would be proud of you.
