Rafa's Success

Rafa's siginings that are an unqualified success are

Reina
Sissoko (squad player)
Alonso
Agger
Garcia (squad player/super sub)

All those players would return a profit if sold in the summer

Anyone can think of anymore?

Re: Rafa's Success

Crouch, if he'd started yesterday, we'd have won.

EDIT: easily.

I'm inclined to agree with you there. I just think his mere presence intimidates opposing defenders. Combine that with the number of crosses from the right we had and I think we'd have scored at the very least.

Why do people think crosses to Crouch will produce goals, how long will it take to sink in that he can't head the ball?

Re: Rafa's Success

Crouch has improved even more under Rafa but I doubt anyone would pay more than the £7M we got for him unless it's Newcastle. Never has a player divided the fans so much as Crouchy has. What is clear though is that he is no worse than the other strikers but gets lesss chances. I think Kuyt has been shit for a goo few games now so Crouchy should get a run alongside Bellamy but doubt Rafa will allow it.

No fucking way. If Fowler had been on the bench instead of Crouch then we'd have fucking won.

That's true AdamS... but Fowler would have stepped forward and headed that ball at the net.

I love Crouch... I just hate that he doesn't attack the ball. That was just another instance of Crouch's passivity that cost us a goal. A very important goal this one...

You're assuming I meant Crouch would score.
