Small club Big Firm???
Got a mate who lives near Melwood whose e-mailed me to say someone has daubed in blue paint across the training ground 'SMALL CLUB BIG FIRM'.

Erm, now I know them lot are bitter as, but can somebody please explain what they are going on about?? Have they been taken over by a big company or something????

Also, while I'm on my rant, been browsing a few message boards and websited and have to say this shameful 'RECLAIM THE KOP' campaign thats going on is the most embarrassing thing I've ever witnessed as a fan of Liverpool Football Club. Being from thet city I can tell you that most scouse lads I know give the kop a wide berth during the 80's...it was always the road end or the paddock for me and my mates. This reclaim the kop nonesense makes us look like geordies!!!

Seems like you only get involved in topics which are an attack on our club or our players. The only exception has been where you asked whether the La's were reds or blues.

In all due respect, the Kop was th ONLY place to be during the 80's for me, it was unique and big match day's made you realise it was a honour to be a Liverpool supporter standing on the most famous terrace in the world....IMO

yeah right. the paddock during the 80's - i remember all the boys going in there. iirc it was seated from about 1981.

I seem to remember the kop being pretty damm full of scousers in the 80s - i was one of them and as BW says, the Paddock was made all seater sometime in the early 80s

When I used to stand on the kop (85 - 90) there was loads of scousers on it. I'm sure you were happy sitting in the paddock though.

Really a WUM??? I think the only WUM'S are the bluenoses who must be behind this RKT movement cos its as embarrassing as it gets as far as I'm concerned, I cannot believe any red(well,scouse red anyway) would have anything to do with anything as cringeworth as this.

sounds like you've just read an RTK leaflet. If you remember a time when we were a bit different you'll remember a time in the 80's when the paddock was seated and full of fellas over 60. it's where me grandad used to go ffs.
