I heard after Rafa's comments the other day that Moyes said that their was 100m difference between the two squads so I got my pen and paper out yesterday and tried working out the cost of the two 16man squads and the ginger prick doesnt have a leg to stand on.

Since when has a 27m difference totalled 100m Gollum???.

I was a bit disappointed with Rafa the other day to be honest hearing his small club jibe as we played exactly the same way v Spurs away over Xmas and got a 1-0 win and it was a bit of sour grapes imo as it was up to us to break them down and I cant help feeling that Utd wouldve definitely broke them down and therein lies the difference between the two sides but I would love Moyes to explain his 100m argument.

Can't agree with you on the Spurs performance, John. We matched them for a good 70 minutes, but were hanging on at the end when they threw everything at us. Everton came out at Anfield and played a 9 man defence from the first whistle.

It was as soon as Bellamy didnt come back out v Spurs we got 10 men behind the ball and hardly ventured in to their half and there was little difference between the two performances to me. Okay I grant you we were better team in first half v Spurs but Bellamy going off changed our whole outlook that game and it was no different to the way Everton played on Saturday but it is all about opinions isnt it.

There are a few players in our 16 that are worth much more than the price they cost us. Have any of the blue ones gone up in price?

But to say that our squad is worth £100m more than his, puts his squad value at minus 32 million.

I couldn't imagine Lescott being so comfortable against Ronaldo. I also thought that we didn't really think about how we were playing on Sat. just banging in high balls all the time.
