Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet

I read in the Norwegian net-based newspaper "Nettavisen" that Guillem Balague had said that Benitez was interested in the two players (I guess one or the other).

They didn't say where they had read this, only that it came from Balague. I couldn't find a link where he said this, but as I said, they claim he's said it. So, does any of you know anything? If it's true that Balague has said this, it should be a reliable source.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

For those who understand Norwegian, here's the link to where I read it

Re: Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet

I think both are grossly over-rated. I have never seen Zlatan have a good game despite all the hype and Trezeguet seems to flatter to decieve all the time.

Think I read on here that he said it on the Radio mate.

Not seen a great dela of Ibra so can't really comment that much. On Trezeguet he is a pure goalscorer and would be a great addition. He is a box player and thats why if you watch him in a game where he doesn't score you can easily underestimate him.

Cheers for the radio-info mate.

There's no doubt Zlatan is a footballgenius, it's his attitude I don't like. He's a completly arse and I wouldn't want him for that reason. Trezeguet is a natural goal scorer and I agree with your comments on him. He would score 15+ PL-goals for us no doubt.

Trezeguet, awful finishing? You must ahve watched him have a couple of bad games. He's a brilliant finisher with both feet and with his head.

Trezeguet would be brilliant in the PL. Zlatan is dogshit, a poor mans Crouch.

Trezeguet is far better than Koller. He gets loads of goals nearly every season.

Think Zlatan would fit into our system despite a poor season but Trez is bobbins.

Re: Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet

I’ve always thought that Trezeguet was majorly overrated, but to score 95 goals in 151 Serie A games and 31 in 53 Champions League, he surely can’t be that crap.

Re: Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet

I was really surprised when I saw Trezeguet's goal record as whenever I've seen him, which is quite a lot, he's been awful and couldn't hit a barn door.

Re: Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet

I think Zlatan would be a good signing. He's got great skills, is strong and is very quick and he's still only 25. Trezeguet is 29 and starting his way down career wise.
