Best pundit at the World Cup
My best pundit this World Cup has easily been Leonardo. Remember him as a quality player and he's the only one in the BBC studio who seems to make any sense. Oh and have a look at this!

Re: Best pundit at the World Cup
Obviously none of the biased c**ts from BBC (Besides Leonardo/Desailly). At least ITV could offer stats and analysis from time to time. El Tel & Gullit did an alrite job me thinks.

I thought BBC's coverage was by far superior to ITV's sham. Pundits I have to agree have been poor on both sides but everything about ITV's coverage has been dreadfull. The set looks like it gets used on a late night quizmania style programme. The pundits look as if they have just found any old manager or ex pro or cricketer (Shane Warne anyone?) and bundled them into a studio. The scripts are on the table in front of them and what the fucks that stupid cotton wool bud on the side of there bastard faces? And another thing, if I see Andy Townsend or Ali McCoist anywhere, I swear I will go out of my way to chin the bastards.

Re: Best pundit at the World Cup
Liked O'Neill and Strachan, while Adrian Childs seems to be a massive football fan who having just recovered from finding out that he gets paid to watch football every Sunday to discover that he is being paid to go on holiday to a great city and watch most of the World Cup, a likeable guy. Agree that Leonardo and Desailly have made sense but because of a language barrier they are often talked over by the other pundits.
On ITV El Tel has been pretty good, and I like Ruud but they don't get the time that the Beeb get, they have 2 mins and then it is off to some clip about what was going on at the England camp, then some inane question that your wife knows the answer to as it is that easy, then a break, then 2 mins punditry, then an ad for the upcoming grand prix then back to the match.
Everybody seems to have similar fews on this so hopefully there will be some changes, but I won't hold my breath.

I like Adrian Childs, he's a rarity on the BBC in that he's English and has a strong regional accent. I like the fact that he obviously comes from a working class background and seems to have a far better understanding of what makes a football fan tick than some ex-professional who has never stood on a terrace in their lives.
The best pundits are on the radio and unbelievably, considering how little I rated him as a manager, I find Graham Taylor to be extremely knowlegdable and informative and he frequently points little things out that make you think "yeah, he's got a point there".
