Oh and I agree with John, bar one or two decent passes (that flicked one first half was very good) what did Zidane do? Not a patch on what he used to be.

Re: France

JohnG and Ian, the only bet on France should be when the bastards eventually surrender.

Vikahs Vindaloo or whatever his name is should have buried that. Henry was pathetic, he shots were the equivalent of a fucking golf putt. Zubertoberlone in goal must have been relieved- he could have sniffed fondue fuel and still made the saves. Putridity that game was.

And the Russian ref....vodka must have diluted his blood and the thin blood must have been cooking in his brains.

Back home and march the Marseillese you bunch of thick cream sauce mustard growing pusilanimous twatettes.

Re: France

Remember the Snorkler and his gang of twats winning in 1998 and how it was all aboot unifying France and Algerains and other colonial offshoots were dancing in the streets where the Panzers once enjoyed a catipulation that even for teh French was amazing.

Yeah, that changed everything- their dumb ass farmers are still dumping rotting EU subsidized vegetation on teh streets, they ban head scarves and Parisian (who fucking gay is that- I'm a Parisian oohhh the river Seine and the Eiffel Tower- fucking scrap iron heap- your little Voltaire nation is just lucky the Germans propped you up in the EEC for so long) suburbs are ablaze.

Yeah, changes everyting. Fifth republic, Revolution blah blah blah.. worst mistake was Winston keepind deGaulle away from the African theatre- too bad The Jackal fucked up..and they name an airport after this tit?

Domenech consults astrology, looks like a typical French twat- look at me with my stylish greying hair, I eat quail at a three star Michelin restaurant and am so proud to be French because we blow up Greenpeace vessels...well, okay they may have gotten that one right...

To this day still have to listen to their stupid Voyaguer courier de bois songs and put up with their demon seed in Quebec always bitching.

Re: France

France were really poor. The system didn't seem to suit their players and whilst they didn't look poor at the back, the midfield looked all over the place and Henry was far too isolated.

Also as well, how annoyed would you be if you were Johan Djorrou? About to head the ball into an empty net and Frei punches the ball away! That was unbelievable that!

Merde. Mon Dieu.

Sad thing is they'll beat Togo as the Togolese can't stop bitching aboot money and their coach.

Perhaps the LA Shopkeepers will run them off the pitch. The team with seventeen Kims in it.

Re: France

The Frenchies just strolled around the pitch in the way the French are prone to do.. they had no 'will to win' at all. Barthez made few saves and bowled out few long throws, Zidane has definately chosen right time to retire or maybe even before World Cup might have been better.. Henry not the same player for country, Vieira totally disinterested.. my accumulator was let down by the bunch of lazy tw*ts as well.. Had a back up bet of a bit on Brazil win and France draw having seen they'd drawn twice with Swiss in qualifying though..

Re: France

Who couldn't see this coming though? France's best players are all over the hill and/or badly faded. They've left the likes of Giuly out of the squad and replaced Coupet with Barthez (who wasn't bad today, but is bound to fuck up eventually).. the list goes on. They have no chance of winning it, imo.

Re: France

Cant blame ribery for too much, he had a fairly decent game and im sure hes gunna get much better in the next game (or perhaps its just blind hope as hes in my fantasy football team ) nevertheless, i didnt think he played too badly. same with zidane. henry didnt seem to be there at all, but im sure it will click soon.

I mean, what the hell? why am i defending the french??? garlic eating frog cunts.

I think they still have classy players though - Henry, Gallas, Ribery, Abidal, Vieira, Makalele - all started. The problem is Thuram, Zidane and Barthez are past it but the other six should be able to carry them.

Their main problem is that the manager is shit and one of those Glenn Hoddle/Eileen Drewry type wierdos - it's like having Peter Taylor in charge of the England team.

France need a style of play, they are all over the place.
