Brilliant Win But Cisse: New Thierry Henry or New Sean Dundee??
Utterly elated to beat the Chavski scum and I think every player played his part in the win even if they had later or earlier made mistakes in the match. Luis' misses then goes on to score the goal, Pepe's saves from Robben and a few others then his one mistake.
Everyone apart from Djibril. Got pace to burn but continually offside, once the ball was played over the top never battled for it and won once, and when he did lose just though 'Oh well, I'm paid to be in this half not defend'
I'm not trying to dampen spirits but didn't we once have a 'supposedly' speedy German/South African ('I am quicker than Michael Owen') in Sean Dundee and was seen to be crap after about 2 minutes of Premiership football and has been called by some to be the worst ever Liverpool player. Is Djib closer to his standard or Henry?
Djibril will go at the end of the season, but for now, who gives a shite onto Cardiff we go, to give the 'Anfield South Wales' a good send off!

I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that Rafa might keep him.

Re: Brilliant Win But Cisse: New Thierry Henry or New Sean Dundee??
I thought he was worse today than I have ever seen him before - and he has been terrible at times this season. Rafa seemed to be telling him off - or at least telling him what he'd done wrong (a long conversation) - at the end of the game.
My view was that this was on a knife edge when he came on, and he behaved like a clown, and could have cost us the game - we needed ten outfield fighters, and he is not a fighter. At the moment, I never want to see him in the side again.

I think he'll move on and will be a success elsewhere. If he played for Arsenal I believe we'd have seen more of what he's capable of.
Todays performance, along with the one playing vs The Scum a few weeks ago, was the most inept I've seen from one of our forwards in a long time.

I don't think it matters what system or team he plays for, he'd still be shit.
Rafa was giving him some advice at the end, and he wasn't fucking listening. He was probably more concerned with his DJ gig later on.
He's gone (please)

Re: Brilliant Win But Cisse: New Thierry Henry or New Sean Dundee??
Cisse could havbe wrapped up the game for us today, but god knows whats going on in that head of hisd, Rafa's had him for 2 years (I know he's been injured) and if he can't change him by now, he's outta here (see Baros, Milan)
I thought Nando showed a bit of class and experience when he came on, he may not be scoring as much as we would like but he's got a great footy brain and the effort and desire was there for everyone to see. Although he's been disappointing, I would not be to aggreived to see him stay as an experienced pro (though not ahead of Robbie)

Change the fucking record mate.
You're as tiresome as R*sh*d is when he's talking about Cr**ch.
Cisse is a good athlete but it hasn't worked out for him here. He'll go somewhere else and be a cracking player, but I think he's finished at our club.

Re: Brilliant Win But Cisse: New Thierry Henry or New Sean Dundee??
If Rafa had had a gun today, he'd have shot him. I don't think I've ever seen a less intelligent player for Liverpool. The only time I've seen him more clueless about the right thing to do is in Istanbul where he went one better than hitting aimless 50 yard balls to no-one despite not being under pressure by having shots from 40 yards out.
Djibril, you may love this club, and I really wanted it to work for you, but you've got the brains of a fucking rocking horse and the touch to match. Good luck at your next club - sincerely.

Cisse won't be staying. When the game finished Rafa spent more time telling him where he'd gone wrong than he did celebrating. He didn't even wait to get him into the dressing room.

Rafa looked furious with him, both before and on the final whistle. However, by the time he got to him, he'd obviously thought better of dishing out the severe bollocking he felt like giving him and merely went for the arm-round-the-shoulder approach. Djibril looked blank as ever though, even after that. It's funny, but when he was coming on and Rafa was giving him instructions, I couldn't get that caption from the latest issue out of my head: get the ball, shoot from anywhere. Got it.
