Bitters vs Chelsea
Who do you want to win? Part of me wants the Bitters to get demolished and in doing so shatter their fragile confidence for the rest of the campaign. They can then finish off their excellent post 4th place season with real progress, cementing a position around 14th.
On the flip side a good Chelsea win will put them in a good mood for our game at the weekend.
My conclusion: A narrow Chelsea victory with lots of 'Dogs of War' style tackles flying in and causing injuries to both sets of players. Moyes to continue to lose the plot in the post match interview and to start quoting erroneous statistics as justification for his sides domination of the game.

Blueshite win. I want Chelsea going into our game with other things on their mind.
Actually, I don't give a toss, it can work both ways.

Everton. More for Rafa to watch on video in the next few days.
Oh and Spurs obviously, then it will be a happy Bank Holiday Monday.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
I'm not sure what's best for us actually - if Chelsea lose they may get angry and be fired up beyond belief. Having said that if they win and Utd lose, they will be champions and will go into the game in a great mood.
Draw for me I think, with injuries to Terry and Lampard thrown in to boot.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
An overconfident Chelsea would be best to nail.
We've never played them in the best of form. Ever.
I can see us beating them if we're on top form.

Yep. Don't forget they'd sewn up the title days before last years CL game and then we put them out. Personally want an Everton win Chavski to drop as many points as possible so we can finish as close to them as we can.

Well think of it this way, last time we played them in a semi final they had just been declared champions. Look what we did
More of the same please

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
I want Chelsea to win and play superb football. I dont want no injuries and every Chelsea player to be on top form.
When Saturday comes all the papers will be saying how well Chelsea are playing and that Liverpool have to no chance but after the final whistle the team in red will be booking the hotel to Cardiff after stuffing the Chav bastards 4-0.

They went into the CL semi last season as newly crowned champions don't forget. I doubt there will be any injuries for Chelsea and Everton will roll over to them, to kepe them fresh to play us.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
Am I a bad person for hoping for a 3-3 draw and a few pulled hamstrings for Chelsea?

Not at all, that's exactly what I want.
The whole 'they had just been crowned champions' thing doesn't mean anything, you could easily counter that by saying they would know about that stat and would be even more determined to change it.
I'd just prefer them not to be in euphoric mood to be honest - confidence is a massive thing in football.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
Chelsea Victory will give them the Title, last year before the Semi in CL they also got the title and we won the Semi. I think I saw an interview with Gerrard (?) after Instanbul telling that he wanted Chelsea to win the title and be obsessed with it and loosing there consentration about the Semi.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
If Everton carry on with this form they could release a dvd of their last ten games of the season and title it "Out With a Whimper".

Truly dismal, and those players would like their 20/30/40k+ a week contracts renewing/extending? Doogpoo tackled back to the half way to win the ball and set up a goal, while he's doing that you can count 4/5 blue noses strolling around in the sunshine. Still, that's there problem. Leaves Chavski a point off the title, Man Usa still whistling dixie and a very big game for us at the weekend. 3rd is good, 3rd and the Cup is sweet.

Re: Bitters vs Chelsea
Anyone see Moyes interviewed ? When asked if Chelsea were worthy champions he answered along the lines of 'the're a very good side, like Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs'.
He went out of his way not to mention us. Pity the interviewer didn't have the balls (or brains) to ask about Liverpool. Gollum would have collapsed blithering ifithadnabeenfor etc etc.
