Wehay, SS is online ! Hi SS, how was your weekly fix of NEXT last Saturday ? (I guess at Next, as I've always thought of you as a Next type person. Though I sometimes think GAP maybe more your style)

As for the footie, had we been talking 12 maybe 10 years ago i'd have agreed. But this roller stuff, comeon man by my reckoning the last roller we were in was a 1991 J plate, since then its been a mixture of Fords and Vauxhalls, with the odd 51 and 05 plate Mercedes thrown in. So I think some prespective is due. I mean I havnt even started banging on about how this must be our most succesful CL campaign EVER. Top of the group, no losses, in a 'group of death' no less. Shout it from the rooftops, 'LIVERPOOL'.

But anyway my friend, Im sure your more than aware of all that. Though it does help me understand your opinions. Shopping on Saturdays for 12 years could really piss a bloke off.

Oh and better to be a blind optimist than a deaf pessimist.

PS BTW are you related to Attacking Play perchance ?

It's simple, we win a few games on the bounce. Get some clean sheets. And most important of all, keep Crouch away from the box, his drought is our lucky charm.

Thats now plus 14 points more than in the same games as last season. Which over he course of the season is near as dammit to an extra 30 points over the course of the season if we continue our improvment at that level.Plus we now have a new club record, still going, of 9 consecutive top flight victories, and a new club record of 11 successive clean sheets.

Sack Rafa and who is this Crouch bloke, he's shite

Oh and SS, you got yer roller out of the garage yet ?

Reina's also equaled Elisha Scott's record for successive clean sheets in the league. It's some smokescreen this.

I've certainly come round to your way of thinking a bit more RRT. Back in November I was a little cagey to say the least but I can actually see us becoming a very good side now and i'm made up to see it happening.

A few tweaks here and there and we'll challenge for the league next season.

It's a good feeling isnt it ? Our goals this season were to get at least 70 points and break clear ot the 'rest' to sit alongside the Mancs and Arsenal, while building toward, hopefully pushing the Chavs all the way. So within theose terms we are exceeding our hopes for this season and thats er, skill ! Its a crucial few weeks now, where we have to drive home the advantage over Arsenal and Spurs and in doing so keep apace with United. And with all being well, by the time of our Arsenal game, we can be in a clear 2nd. But this month could go the other way, its just nice being confident it WONT for once.

I was expecting fourth after the disapponting summer but Rafa has got them playing really well so we are going to progress big time from last season which is all you can realistically ask for.

Liverpool 3 - 0 Wigan last season w -
Liverpool 2- 0 Boro last season d plus 2
Liverpool 3- 0 Newcastle last season w -
Everton 1 - Liverpool 3 last season L plus 3
LFC 1 -0 WBA last season w -
Bolton 2 - 2 LFC last season l plus 1
Liverpol 1 - 0 Spurs last season d plus 2
UNited 1 - 0 Liverpool last season L -
LFC 1 - 1 Brum D last season L plus 1
chelsea 2 - 0 LFC Last season L -
CHarlton 2 - 0 LFC last season win minus 3
Wigan 0 - 1 LFC last season L (Wign equals Palace) plus 3
LFC 1 - 0 Arsenal last season W -
LFC 1 - 0 Man CIty last season W
LFC 0 - 0 Charlton last season win minus 2
Arsenal 2 -1 Lfc last season L -
LfC 5 -1 Fulham last season W -
Newcastle 1- 3 LFC last season L plus 3
LFC 3 -1 Everton last season W -
WBA 0 - 2 LFC last season W -
LFC 1 - 0 Bolton last season W -

So were currently 19 points better of than last season in the corresponding games. Charlton have become our new Portsmouth, whilst Fulham and Brum still get on our tits !

Checking back through this thread, it shows we've achieved our goals with 4 games to spare, good going Rafa.
