baros out for a month

we are screwed, if we didn't already have a striking crisis we have certainly got one now. rafa must be tearing his hair out, losing owen without a replacement, djib's broken leg and now this !!! When is nunez fit? he can play as striker can't he?? who do you think he will start with tomorrow?? Kewell and mellor?? or will pongo start

Would like to think that Mellor will be given a chance...I might even put him in my fantasy footy team this weekend!!

If, with Owen gone and Baros and Cisse out, Mellor still doesn't get a chance, he might as well call it a day with us in January.

Have to give Mellor a chance, carries way more of a goal threat than Pongolle. Think he will go with Mellor and Kewell

Pongo looks speedy and skillfull but rarly seems to find the back of the net. I think Melor will now deffinatly have his chance.

Would like to see Kewell and Garcia swapping roles for support striker to winger to very the attack. Now Gerrard is back also this will hopefully give Garcia a little more time and space he seems to need.

Losing Milan for a month was a real kick in the gizzards for us at a time when we need him most.

Get well soon Milan lad.
